In my first motion graphics class, my peers and I were instructed to select any poster from another artist or designer’s work, and bring it to life through an animated video set to music. I chose a poster of Italy created by artist Alex Asfour, and the song “Milan Nightlife” by Steve Oxen. I was inspired by the movement that I felt like this poster already had, and I wanted to capture that movement in the animation through the melody of the uplifting music.
